SIBEAQO-V Venue
The symposium will be held in El Grove (42° 29′43″N, 008° 51′50 W) that is located on a peninsula set in the so-called Rías Baixas (North-western coast of Spain). The venue will be at the new Municipal Auditorium of El Grove that was inaugurated in June 2022 and is located in the center of the village (Pasaxe Monte da Vila, 15), within walking distance of most of the accommodations and restaurants.
Travel to el Grove
By bus /train
The best way to get to El Grove is by bus from Pontevedra or Santiago de Compostela (Intermodal station). Timetables are available here.
There are trains that connect Santiago de Compostela and Pontevedra via Madrid with different cities in Spain.
By plane
There are three international airports close to El Grove: Vigo (65 km), Santiago de Compostela (80 km), and Porto (Portugal, 200 km).
- From Santiago de Compostela airport, take a bus to the intermodal station (Santiago de Compostela) and then a bus to El Grove (see above).
- From Vigo airport, take a bus or a train to Pontevedra and then a bus to El Grove. The bus or train can be taken from VIALIA station, which can be reached from the Vigo airport by bus. You can buy the latter ticket in the bus (cash).
- From the Porto airport, you will need to take a first bus to the Vigo station (VIALIA) (for example) and a second bus or train to Pontevedra and finally a bus to El Grove.
From any of the three airports you can also rent a car from diverse car rental companies.
